Waiting...

The waiting is the worst part!  Tomorrow is scan day.  I'll post the results here when I get them.  I still won't have the Thyrglobulin cancer marker blood work, but it will be one piece of the puzzle...and hopefully good news!
I am reminded, as I wait, that what I am facing is nothing in comparison to what so many others have faced with cancer.  I am blessed that my cancer has led to great friendships, the ability to serve others in their journey and the reminder that life is short and therefore should be enjoyed!  I am also blessed to not have taken chemo - but rather have been radiated from within by iodine!  Truly the Holy Spirit present in His power and grace in an earthly element!
So, tomorrow, no matter what the news, I plan to enjoy some food that contains iodine!!!  Like cheese and fish!!!  I am praying with confidence that I was healed in 1996 - and that I am still in the same state of having been healed.
