Blessings abound as I count down to treatment

Went to Mass today.  Afterwards, received the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.  I also requested the blessing of St. Blaise - patron of all ailments of the throat.  This week's game plan:
Since Bob is in Europe on business, a dear friend - Beth Anne - will accompany me to Mayo on Wednesday and Thursday.  On Thursday, another dear friend - Miriam - will stay with me overnight at my home.  My son Alek will be home Friday and he'll accompany me to Washington State where we'll meet up with Bob and visit with my daughter, Olyvia for Thanksgiving Week.  I've heard from one person directly in e-mail who has had the treatment and another will be writing me e-mail tonight.  The treatment apparently wipes you out and you sleep a lot afterwards - or some do anyway.  I'll keep you all posted.
