Survived injection number 1

Had blood work done at 8:40 this morning - Thyroglobulin and Tg Antibodies.  Then I had the first Thyrogen injection done at about 9:15.  I forgot that they give this injection in the hip...so one sore hip!  It did not hurt other than it was cold.  They store Thyrogen in the fridge!  I asked for a band-aid and the only kind they had was a crayola crayon!  Red in fact!!
Side effects today have been some tummy issues, a headache and some brain fog.  But, that's most days ;-) for me.
