Tg (Thyroglobulin, tumor marker) = 0.5. Up from 0.4 last year and 0.3 the year before. Nice and low, but undetectable is what we really would prefer.
TSH = 1.28 - middle range of normal. Not what I expected. I have not changed dosages and TSH is up from 0.45. I'm not going to worry about this for the moment. I bet the doc will want me on more Synthroid.
Free T4 = This is the Synthroid floating around in my system. It's 1.61 with a normal range of 0.92-1.57. I'd expect this to be lower given my TSH is higher than usual. My prior Endo never liked this to be higher than the normal range. We'll see...
Free T3 = Don't ask me why they tested Free T3 instead of the usual T3...but OK. T4 is converted by the body into T3. T3 is where you get your energy. My free T3 was 2.81 with a normal range of 2.57-4.43. Given a high T4, I'd expect a high T3. My regular T3 is usually mid range. This is closer to the bottom of the range.
Vitamin D = 32, down from 39 last year. Normal range is 30-80. Numbers below 50 are associated with body aches. I take 2000 IU daily - I might need to increase that.
Calcium = 9.7, about the same as last year when it was 9.6. Normal is 8.5 - 10.5.
Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) = 104.9 with a normal range of 10-65. This is high. It's also up from last year when it was 93.2. This is a puzzle because high PTH with very high calcium or very low calcium has an explanation. Normal calcium makes this kind of odd. Next steps? No idea...we'll see.
Waiting on neck ultrasound results...will post them when I have them.
