In the meantime...

While counting down to Iowa City in a week and a half, I went to see my GP and she wants me to give up my cholesterol medication.  So, I've done that and now we are waiting to see if that's the root cause for the muscle aches, cramping, etc.  I also have to get a "lesion" on my nose evaluated because it looks suspicious.  What fun - NOT.  I'd like a couple years with no medical crap going on in my life or the lives of my family members and dear friends.  But somehow, that's not the path of my life story.  Oh well...
I'll update again when I know something.
